Our fee structure is designed to be transparent and proportionate to the services provided. Four clearly defined cost components ensure every organisation understands exactly what they are paying for and why.

All components are disclosed in writing before accreditation commences. UKAB provides a full cost breakdown as part of the application assessment.

Application Fee

The initial amount remitted by the applicant organisation to proceed with the desired accreditation programme. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid in advance of the document review stage commencing.

Programme Fee

The amount paid for the desired accreditation programme scope. This fee covers the administrative and operational cost of running the accreditation programme itself. It does not include assessment, travel, lodging & boarding, or translation fees.

Assessment Fee

The amount paid for the involvement of UKAB auditors, technical experts, and all other resources required throughout the assessment process. Travel, lodging and boarding, and any translation services required are also billed under this component.

Certification Fee

The amount paid per certificate issued by the accredited organisation. This fee covers the administrative costs of certificate issuance, including registration, documentation, and maintenance on the UKAB public register of accredited bodies.

Important Note on Additional Costs: Assessment fee includes auditor time only. Travel, accommodation, subsistence, and translation services required for on-site assessments outside the assessor's base location are billed at cost and itemised separately in your written quotation.

Complete the online application form or contact UKAB directly. Define your intended accreditation scope and the standard(s) you wish to be assessed against. A named account officer will be assigned to your case.

Receive Your Written Quotation

UKAB will provide a full written fee quotation itemising all four cost components — Application, Programme, Assessment, and Certification fees — along with an estimated timeline for the process.

Document Review & On-Site Assessment

Upon payment of the Application Fee, UKAB's technical team initiates the document review. On-site assessment follows, conducted by qualified UKAB assessors and technical experts.

Grant & Ongoing Surveillance

Accreditation is granted and your organisation is listed on the UKAB public register. Annual surveillance ensures your accreditation remains current, valid, and internationally recognised.
